Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight round match which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the combatants confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming bout.
Former two-time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I will damage his features and hurt his body. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to seriously aim to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
In spite of these statements, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally known for his showmanship - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather criticized ex Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK opponent Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's greatest financial successes, regularly earning substantial earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in rounds four or five and claimed he would prevent the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently being planned for 2026.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Size Disparity
As the two fighters participated in the usual face-off, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it drove home just how improbable this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the fight is actually proceeding.
